Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, two of the most talked-about celebrities of the 21st century, were recently spotted spending time together at the Copa America final on July 15, where Argentina triumphed over Colombia with a 1-0 victory.
A video that surfaced online shows the pair enjoying the match, chatting and laughing together. Despite attempts by various media outlets to reach out to Mendes and Cabello, neither responded to the inquiries.
This outing follows their brief romance from 2019 to 2021, which was reignited at Coachella in 2023. Although their rekindled relationship was short-lived, they have been seen together again in 2024.
In a 2023 interview, Cabello discussed her relationship with Mendes, saying, “I think it’s known, I’m a fan. I think it’s helpful. I’m the kind of person—you can’t forbid things from me because I will want to do it more.”
She further elaborated on their relationship dynamics, stating, “It wasn’t even a decision; you just kind of realize, ‘Yeah, this doesn’t really fit.’ It doesn’t feel right. After two years of a high-profile relationship, Mendes and Cabello announced their separation with a statement saying, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for each other as individuals is stronger than ever. We began our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.”
