Canadian pop star Justin Bieber captivated attendees at the pre-wedding celebrations for Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant.
Arriving in Mumbai, India, on Friday morning, Bieber delivered an electrifying performance at the NMACC, performing his hits “Sorry,” “Love Yourself,” and “Peaches.”
The celebrity guests at the ‘Sangeet’ ceremony were seen enjoying Bieber’s performance. The singer, known for his debut album “My World” and his ‘teen idol’ status, received enthusiastic applause from the crowd.
Videos of Bieber’s performance soon surfaced online. In one clip, he was spotted hugging Jaaved Jaffrey, the daughter of Alaviaa Jaffrey, and in another, he was seen dancing with Indian internet sensation Orry.
Following his performance in India, the two-time Grammy Award winner flew to Miami, reportedly earning USD 10 million for his performance.
About the Radhika-Anant Ambani Wedding
Anant Ambani, the heir to a billionaire fortune, is set to marry his long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. The couple hosted a three-day pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar, Maharashtra, India, in March 2024. The event featured a star-studded guest list, including Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, and a performance by Rihanna.
This was followed by another pre-wedding celebration in May, which included a four-day Mediterranean cruise with stops across Europe and performances by Hollywood stars like Katy Perry, the Backstreet Boys, and Andrea Bocelli.
The grand wedding is scheduled to take place at Mukesh Ambani’s residence, Antilia. Renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra has been appointed as the wedding’s creative director. In a statement to CNN, Malhotra highlighted the wedding’s attention to detail, saying, “Every element, from the decor and cuisine to the attire and ambiance; each event, from the vibrant Sangeet to the ceremonial wedding day and the grand reception, is crafted to immerse guests in an atmosphere of joy, love, and celebration.”
