Jung Kook and Jimin of BTS are gearing up to star in an exciting new travel reality series set to premiere on Disney Hotstar.
Titled “Are You Sure,” the series was announced by Big Hit Music, the label behind the K-pop supergroup, and its parent company, Big Hit Label.
The highly anticipated series will debut on August 8, 2024. It will feature Jung Kook and Jimin traveling to three distinct locations: Sapporo in Japan, Jeju Island in South Korea, and New York.
According to a press release, “Are You Sure?” promises a fun-filled adventure with Jimin and Jung Kook. Viewers will see them eating, shopping, cooking, camping, canoeing, swimming, and road-tripping together. The series aims to showcase the undeniable chemistry and endearing friendship between Jimin and Jung Kook, as they bond over a variety of memorable experiences, immerse themselves in different cultures, engage in exciting activities, and sample local cuisines.
Filmed in 2023, the series began production before the BTS members embarked on their mandatory military service in South Korea. While this will be Jimin and Jung Kook’s debut in a travel reality show, BTS has previously featured travel content in popular series such as Bon Voyage and In The Soop. These shows are currently available on Weverse, the fan-artist platform owned by HYBE Corporation.
Additionally, BTS member Jin has been confirmed to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics as a torchbearer representing South Korea. Jin, who completed his military training in December 2022, is the only BTS member to have finished his service so far.
New episodes of “Are You Sure?” will be released weekly, starting September 19, 2024.
